Improvements to Landseer Gardens

We are committed to building a greener, healthier borough and improving our parks and greenspaces for all residents to use. Local councillors have allocated funding to improve Landseer Gardens.

The improvements that we are hoping to make to the park, include:

• Additional playground equipment
• Additional/improved seating
• New sensory focused planting
• New tree planting

The consultation has now closed and the results of the survey can be found in the documents section on the right of this page or at the bottom of the page if viewing on a mobile device.

Based on feedback from the community, a design has been developed that incorporates new play equipment, relocation of existing play equipment, refurbishment of existing seating, and lowering the height of a part of the climbing wall (the non-climbing section) to improve visibility and sight lines. The design for the play improvements can be viewed on the right side of the page or below when accessed from a mobile device.

Next steps

Once feedback is received we will make adjustments to the design where relevant. A contractor will then be selected to undertake the work, with site activity expected to site commence in early 2026.
