Apply to join the Resident Service Improvement Group

We’re looking for enthusiastic residents to help us improve housing services.

The group works with the council to help improve housing services for everyone in Islington.

Your experience as an Islington resident is exactly what we need.

About the group

The Resident Service Improvement Group is made up of Islington Council tenants and leaseholders.

The group:

  • talk directly to senior council staff
  • share what is working and what is not
  • help improve housing services for everyone

Since April 2024, residents in the group have helped improve:

  • how we handle complaints
  • how we work with contractors
  • how we communicate with residents

Who can apply

You can apply if you:

  • are an Islington Council tenant or leaseholder
  • live in a council home, including homes managed by Partners for Islington or a tenant management organisation (TMO)

We want the group to reflect the full diversity of Islington. Whether you’re young or older, live on an estate or a street property, we want to hear from you.

We’ll provide you with the training and support you need - your experience as a resident is all that matters.
