Young People’s Supported Accommodation Pathway - 16-25 years

We want to make sure that Islington's young people are ready for independent living and are prepared for their adult life. The Progression to Independence Pathway will provide housing support to young people age 16 to 25. It will help young people to achieve positive outcomes in areas such as housing, education, training and employment, health and emotional well-being.

We currently have 100 places of supported housing for young people. The contracts for these places will end on the 31 March 2025. To give the best possible support to our young people, we want to improve and update how this is done.

How can you get involved?

We will work together with young people, including current and former residents, service providers and the voluntary sector to design the new offer.
