About the project

Islington Council is committed to making recycling as easy and convenient as possible for our residents on estates. We believe recycling facilities at Rowstock Gardens don't offer you enough recycling capacity for you to recycle everything that you can.

We have developed proposals for improving recycling facilities across the estate and welcome your views on these proposals. These proposals have been developed in partnership with your local housing officers and caretakers following a number of site visits. The improvement proposals include:

  • Increased number of recycling bins on selected blocks to ensure there is always enough room for recycling.
  • New recycling area for 59-76 Rowstock Gardens.
  • Improved signs with more information for residents.

Improvement works will be fully funded and will not be recharged to residents.

We want to hear from you. Please take a few moments to review the proposals in the 'Supporting Documents' section on this page. You can also view the proposals by clicking here .

Please take a minute to complete our recycling survey. This will help us understand your views about recycling on your estate and assist us to get these recycling improvement proposals right.

If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, you can contact me via e-mail at Nicole.Blagoeva@islington.gov.uk

This consultation will be open to contributions until Wednesday 1 November 2023.
