We wrote to residents in May 2023 regarding plans to relocate the community growing area in Tufnell Park. The proposal was put forward as the current growing area is unsuitable for growing due to the lack of light and overhanging trees.
As part of this consultation, we would like to give residents a say on how the estate is shaped and would like to hear residents’ views.
We have been working with Octopus who currently manage the Community Plant Nursery on the estate and have put forward four options which are outlined within the consultation.
This new proposed garden area on the estate would be fenced off similarly to the Plant Nursery to help reduce any potential anti-social behaviour.
We are committed to improve our estates and find ways to design out anti-social behaviour.
