Your thoughts on Finsbury Wellbeing Campus proposals

We’ve been engaging with the local community and residents to develop plans to improve the Finsbury Leisure Centre area. We’ve heard what really matters to local people and we are ready to share our updated plans with you. 

This survey aims capture local people’s opinions around the latest proposals and will take less than 5 minutes to complete. Before you fill in the survey, please make sure you have viewed the plans at one of our Public Information Sessions, our Public Spaces Workshop or on our Let’s Talk Islington webpage. We appreciate you taking the time to submit your feedback.

We would like to ask what you think about football pitch options in relation to open access space.

There are three design options being considered outlined below. Please give your views on the options.  

Option 1 – same sized pitches with no change in public space size
Option 2 – pitch no.2 reduced to match size of pitches 3 and 4 with an additional 195m2 public green recreational space outside the leisure centre
Option 3 – pitches no.1 and 2 reduced to match size of pitches 3 and 4 with an additional 390m2 of public green recreational space outside the leisure centre.

There will be a play offer provided near the Medical Centre, and we are considering both a managed option as well as an open public option. Please give your views on the options.

Option 1 – Traditional managed Adventure Playground
Option 2 – SEND managed Adventure Playground
Option 3 – New ‘Adventurous’ Public Playground
Option 4 – SEND Focused Public Playground
