We are consulting on proposals to increase the number of Year 7 places available at Highbury Fields School from 140 to 145 following a request from school governors. The aim of the proposal is to protect school funding and the quality of education that the school can provide by offering five additional places to waiting list applicants.
No other changes are planned to admissions for council-run (community) schools in 2028/29.
Have your say on these proposals by completing our short survey by 5pm Friday 5 December 2026.
Please email admissions@islington.gov.uk if you have any questions or if you need this information in another format or language.
