Islington Council and the Thriving Neighbourhoods programme is committed to improving and transforming shared spaces on estates in Islington, with the intention of leaving a legacy that positively benefits the residents and builds on strengthening the community.
We are working in partnership with residents, to provide them with an opportunity to tell us what improvements they want to see and be actively involved in making a positive change to their communities and neighbourhoods.
Great news! We are upgrading the communal areas at Rowstock Gardens and Camden Estate rejuvenating it back into an attractive community space for all to use.
Thank you for all your input, which has been used to inform the designs. The designs can be viewed on this page - proposed plan

We are pleased to let you know that we have selected a preferred contractor to deliver the landscape improvement works at Rowstock Gardens / Camden Estate. We are currently working to formally appoint the contractor, with the aim to start on site later this Spring. The work will be carried out in phases, meaning that some of your outdoor space will remain available for use at all times.
Next steps
We will be in touch again soon to confirm key dates for the works, and provide you with contact information should you need to speak to anyone during the works period.
