Survey update

We're pleased that the consultation has already generated strong interest, with more than 160 responses received from residents and stakeholders already. This feedback is helping us understand local views on the proposals and will play an important role in informing future decisions.

As part of our routine review of the consultation, we identified a technical issue which meant that two of the survey questions were not displayed between 22 July and 30 July. The issue has now been resolved.

We would like to reassure residents and stakeholders that all responses submitted during this period have been successfully recorded and remain valid. The issue affected only two questions within the survey, relating to:

  • The question about the removal of the dog faeces.
  • The requirement for dog owners to carry suitable means to clean up after their dog.

Anyone who completed the survey during this period is welcome to return and provide feedback on these questions. There is no need to complete the full survey again, as their original responses have already been captured.

We would also encourage anyone who has not yet taken part in the consultation to do so. The consultation remains an important opportunity for residents, businesses and community organisations to help shape how these powers are used in Islington.

To provide additional time for participation, we have extended the consultation period by one week, and it will now close on Sunday 6 September.
