North Road Loading Bay

The council is making a revised proposal to create a loading bay on North Road, located outside the grocery store near the junction with Drovers Way. This loading bay would be operational during specific times to facilitate deliveries to the store.

To accommodate this, two parking spaces within the existing shared parking area would be converted into a limited-time loading bay. These spaces could still be used by permit holders and visitors outside of the designated loading hours.

The proposed operating hours and layout for the loading bay are given below.

The proposed restriction times are:

• Mondays – Fridays, 7.30am-9.30am - Goods vehicles loading only.
• Mondays – Fridays, 9.30am-4.30pm - Permit holders or pay by phone
• Mondays – Fridays, 4.30pm-6.30pm - Goods vehicles loading only
• Saturdays, 8am to 12pm (Noon) - Goods vehicles loading only
  
  At other times the bay would have no restrictions.
