Local validation requirements for planning applications
We are consulting on an update to Islington’s local validation requirements following the adoption of Islington’s new Local Plan.
To apply for planning permission applications must include plans, drawings and other necessary information. The requirements for what needs to be submitted are set out in both National Information Requirements and Local Information Requirements.
Councils can request information through a list of Local Information Requirements. This is sometimes referred to as ‘local validation requirements’ or the ‘local list’. Each application will need to meet the national and local information requirements relevant to the type and scale of the development proposed.
Local Validation Requirements for Planning Applications document
- Part 1 of this document sets out the plans, drawings and photographs that may be required,
