Consultation has concluded

Islington Greener Together (IGT) Champions is joint funded by Islington Council and Future Parks Accelerator. In partnership with Islington Council, Groundwork London will create opportunities for local residents to become IGT Champions for their Islington Greener Together site.

Have your say!

We are keen to hear from as many of you as possible to ensure the IGT Champions programme meets your priorities, needs and aspirations. With your help, we can provide the right training, support and resources to help you garden successfully!

Complete our IGT Champions survey by clicking on the Take Survey button or email us at IGT.Champions@groundwork.org.uk and we will post the survey to you.

What is an IGT Champion?

To be a Champion you might be a resident, a local greenspace user or admirer. You may have a little or lots of time to volunteer; you may already be involved with your local greenspace or want to be. Perhaps you are ambitious to help others, share your knowledge and skills and green more spaces in Islington.

About the project

The IGT Champions programme will tap into the enthusiasm of Islington residents to plant and maintain new greenspace, find new opportunities for greening, act on climate change and transform neighbourhoods. It is critical that we work with you as an IGT Champion to reduce inequality and support residents who are disproportionately impacted by a lack of access to greenspace to improve their local environment.

The IGT Champions project will provide:

• practical training

• resources

• support
