Islington Clean Air Parents and Islington Council are working together to improve the section of closed road at Highbury Crescent. Working with residents and community groups, the improvements aim to enhance the areas existing character and maximise the use of the street.
The proposed improvements include:
promoting a safer and more sociable environment for children, families and all users of the Fields
enhance walking and cycling
increase urban greening
enhance amenities on offer, such as play, leisure and seating
