
Parent/Carer Co-Designer - Join Us to Help Shape Your Local Services!
We are looking for parents and carers of children or young people aged 0-25 in Islington to express their interest in becoming a co-designer. You don’t need special qualifications - just your experience of using local services like schools, health, social care, youth clubs, or mental health support.
To take part, you need:
To live in Islington and be the parent/carer of a child or young person aged 0-25
The right to work in the UK
To speak English at a conversational level
To be able to travel to in‑person sessions (we can cover travel costs)
Access to a laptop (we can provide one if needed)
What will you be doing?
- Share what you think about local services – what works well and what could be improved.
Join workshops and creative sessions with other young people
Come up with practical ideas to improve how young people get support
Try out new ideas to see if they work
Give honest feedback on changes as they happen
Talk to your community, friends and family about what they need from their local services
What we can offer you:
Paid role – London Living Wage (£13.85 per hour)
Flexible commitment - up to 15 hours per month
