Community Safety, Tenancy and Police have applied to the courts for a closure at a problematic address on the estate. This was granted last week and property has been secured.
Community Safety, Tenancy and Police supported a vulnerable resident who had been cuckooed by a person dealing drugs from the property. The tenant has been supported to a place of safety, drug dealer removed from the property and property has been secured.
Housing Investigations and tenancy have completed an eviction at a property where the tenant had moved away. This address had been flagged as problematic and linked to crime and anti-social behaviour on the estate.
Tenancy issued three Notice Seeking of Possession to tenants involved in Anti-Social Behaviour.
Ongoing multi-agency work to support several vulnerable residents in different addresses on the estate.
Other ongoing partnership work to tackle some other problematic addresses on the estate.
Police completed a stop and search of a person suspected of having drugs on their person. Flick knife recovered. Person arrested for having an offensive weapon, public order offence and obstructing a drug search.
Ongoing patrols by the Safer Neighbourhood Team supported by council Parkguard officers.
Ongoing outreach by drug and alcohol teams in the area.
Outreach on the estate by rough sleeping team to support a female to a place of safety.
New lighting installed by Estate Services on Salisbury Walk following Environmental Visual Audit.
Still waiting for temporary CCTV to be installed, which is on a waiting list following a business case being submitted by Community Safety. Expected in April/May time.
Funding bids for security improvements on the estate. We are organising a walkabout with relevant teams and residents to discuss ideas for security improvements.
