A man and woman having a conversation at the Islington Climate Panel workshop

Climate action plan survey

We'd like to hear your views about climate change and the types of action that could be taken by individuals, communities and organisations in Islington.

To help you think about your answers, we think about climate action in two ways:

  • Reducing emissions: carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases are what drive climate change. Reducing emissions can be achieved by saving energy, switching to renewable energy, changing how we travel to walking or cycling, switching to electric vehicles, reducing the amount of things we buy and waste, and changing diets.
  • Climate resilience and adaptation: this is about recognising that the climate has already changed and taking action to keep Islington safe and secure. This might mean keeping people and buildings cool during hot weather, protecting ourselves against storms and flooding, or creating more green spaces to help with cooling and drainage. It might also mean thinking about where the things we buy come from.

The survey will take around 10 minutes to complete. Thank you for your help in shaping how we tackle climate change in Islington!
