Our proposal to relocate two pay-by-phone parking spaces and remove one pay-by-phone parking space on Britannia Row

Have your say by Friday 29 May 2026

Islington Council is proposing to amend three pay-by-phone parking spaces on Britannia Row, located outside numbers 31-33 Britannia Row (outside the entrance to Denham Lodge).

The council has become aware of a road danger issue at this location whereby the narrow road width does not leave sufficient space for large vehicles to pass parked vehicles. This has led to vehicles mounting the pavement causing danger to people using the street. We have temporarily suspended the parking and are proposing to remove/relocate it permanently.

To address this issue we are proposing to relocate two of the pay-by-phone parking spaces to the area of existing single yellow lines outside Finnemore House on Britannia Row, and to remove one space.
